Condition: Very good. All books are still securely bound and do not appear to be missing any pages. Signs of wear and age including worn edges, browning to pages, stains, penicl writing in margins, and loss of gilt spine lettering visible on each book. Given their age, they are in a pleasantly useable condition and not too brittle to handle or read. Please note that two of the original volumes are missing. Please see photos!  

Details: A simple yet classic Victorian designed book set featuring the well known works of William Shakespeare. Each is silk bound and embossed with the title and volume on the spine.
